Unless car makers have changed how back seat bottoms are installed it is a simple process.

Climb into the back floor area, put your knee agains the front of the seat where the space between your legs would be if sitting in the seat and push back towards the truck.

If this does not work, slip your fingers under the bottom edge of the seat, in the same location and pull up.

Some cars have a slip latch that holds them in. Back of the seat has a few wires that are curved and slide up under the back rest of the back seat.

Other cars have a plastic white retainer and a metal prong from the bottom of the seat is stuck into it. Its wedged in there good so it can take some effort. If you are bending the seat up like 9" or more and its not popping, then you are doing something wrong.

Worse case is stop by a detail shop and have them pop it out, they do them daily to clean under the seat.

Seats normally only have 2 clips maybe 3 that hold them down.

If the metal in the seat "poked" a hole, there is more problem there. Look in the yellow pages under " automobile upholstery", and compare quotes.

A "bucket seat" may cost $100-$150 at todays prices, bench seats cost more.
