VGA Switch: Allows switching between multiple video sources

A VGA Switch can be used to switch video from multiple sources to one display device. The main advantage is that it eliminates the hassle of plugging and unplugging in VGA cables repeatedly between sources. It functions by connecting the VGA video sources and display to the VGA switch with standard SVGA cables reducing cost and saving space. Using this device, multiple computers can share a single video display which has a VGA port. It also allows one monitor to be switched between two or more video sources while maintaining video integrity and clarity.

These switches can be cascaded in order to transmit multiple VGA signals on one output device. In complex applications, these switches can be connected with video splitters or other video devices. A VGA Switcher is available in a wide range of sizes starting with 2 ports and going up to 8 ports. They provide crisp and clear images with a resolution of 1920 x 1440 @ 60 Hz and a frequency of 250 MHz. The input signals remain consistent and there is no degradation in the quality of video output. Switching of the signals is done via push buttons in front of the unit or via infra red remote control. They support the DDC1, DDC2, DDC2B, DDC2B+, DDC2AB protocols and are CE, FCC, RoHS compliant.

These switches are hot pluggable and do not require any additional software for operation. Available in many types, the high end models of these video switchers come with a wireless remote for port selection, on screen display and auto scan mode. They are also available in matrix models supporting 2×2, 2×4, 2×8, 2×16, 4×4, 8×8, 16×16 formats whereby multiple video inputs can be connected with multiple video outputs. Control of these complex switches is done through RS232, Infrared or TCP/IP in addition to the standard pushbuttons. PCs, MACs and SUNs with VGA video along with VHS or DVD players support all models of these switches. These switches become essential in arenas where switching between multiple video sources is needed. Hence they find their use in Hotels, Restaurants, Classrooms, Casinos, Presentation & Training facilities, CAD applications, Graphic Designing fields, Conference Rooms, Gaming Arenas etc. Control Centers and Remote monitoring facilities also require the VGA Switch.

That’s amazing! It always seem easier to draw on the computer then on paper. Really now, to color like that makes me curious, though everyone’s style of art is different.

AutoCAD works just fine under on Mac hardware. I have AutoCAD 2009 installed on the Boot Camp partition of my Macbook Pro, and it runs like a dream…I don't foresee you having any problems.

However, keep in mind that Autodesk doesn't "officially" support AutoCAD running on any Macintosh platform. That being said, it will run on either Parallels or Boot Camp, whatever your choice. (Assuming that you're using a Mac with an Intel processor).

Yes. Theoretically, you can take any older version to 2009 and open it there. Just make sure that you only go from old to new, and not visa versa. If you take drawings you made in 2009 to your school computer and try to open them in 2004, it won't work.

To save a 2009 file to 2004 format, just go to save as. Under the drawing name, there is an option in which you can select different versions and formats. Usually its either .dwg, .dwt, and .dxf for years 2007, 2004 and 2000. You'll probably want to stick with the .dwg format, but with year 2004.

Auto Cad is not a career field. It is a tool used by engineers to do their work. It is a skill that should be part of your resume. Getting certification in Auto Cad will provide evidence to future employers that you are adept in using this tool.

You should do a search for "CAD freelancer" or just "freelancer" Remember that you'll be competing against the world. There is no "Only USA" web site. One of the advantage of being in the US is, that if a project recruiter wants to sue someone in India for a breech of contract, good luck. As a citizen/resident of the US there are laws that help to provide some relief/remedy to parties that believe they have been wronged. Make sure that when you bid, you bring up this point. It helps to even the playing field.

    Good luck.

Yes Autocad has such feature.I can just give u headlines at this time.

U need to learn to make BLOCKS with attributes…( Attribute is a data linked to that block like Part no., price etc. )

Then u need to learn ways of Attribute extraction. yes they can be extracted to Excel format.

So the key words for you to look in help are BLOCK with Attributes, Attribute Extraction. You can do them.

    Good Luck!
